Business Engagement Project Lead

Are you an experienced Project Lead with a passion for transforming public spaces and driving meaningful community impact? In this role, you will lead the delivery of creative lighting, safety, and place-making improvements across high-profile regional corridors and live CBD environments. If you excel at navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and managing projects from planning to successful delivery.

  • Role Type: Temporary Contract: Full time, 35 hours per week
  • Contract Term: 12 months
  • Location: Wyong, NSW
  • Work Rights: Full Australian Working Rights Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: End-to-end management of project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and benefits realisation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of contact, collaborating across multiple business units (Asset Management, Facilities, Events) and external contractors.
  • Community & Place Engagement: Drive meaningful community engagement and handle sensitive community contexts to deliver lived-experience-informed design.
  • Governance & Reporting: Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers, and governance materials for senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Financial Monitoring: Track and monitor budgetary spending against targets, continuously identifying cost efficiencies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Project Management, Place Management, Contract Management, or a related field (or equivalent contemporary experience).
  • Project Expertise: Proven experience delivering place-making or infrastructure projects within live public precinct environments.
  • Communication & Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a track record of strong stakeholder management.
  • Systems Proficient: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), project management tools, and CRM systems.
  • Licence: A valid Class C Driver's Licence.
